Delivery Conditions
Our packages are shipped by UPS, standard
or express. For orders above 80 Kg. we deliver through NAGEL (see "Delivery
& Tax" section in the Business Portal at the Home Page). You can monitor
your package through a tracking number provided by UPS (see "Contact us"
section).
Food and wine are very carefully wrapped or
vacuum-packed in order to avoid crash or deterioration of goods. To help
keeping your food in top condition during transport, from June to September, we utilise dry ice
and polystirol boxes that can assure that our quality products are at their
best once at destination, even if after several days. This packaging requires an additional
cost of 0,5 EUR per Kg for both standard and express delivery.
A special gift packaging is also available.
Safe shipment of bottles is provided only for orders of 6 or multiple of 6, wine or olive oil 500 or 750 ml. and balsam vinager 500 ml. Bottles, in a special box of polystirol that we are happy to offer to you.
STANDARD DELIVERY
DELIVERY TIME
(A) If the order does
not contain fresh products:
FOR Austria, Benelux, Denmark, Germany,
Italy and Spain delivery after 2 or 3 working days (shipping
on the day of the order or the day after; no delivery during week-end).
FOR Finland, Ireland,
Norway, Portugal, Sweden and United Kingdom delivery from
3 to 5 working days (shipping on the day of the order or the day after; no delivery
during week-end).
(B) If the order contains
fresh products (Gourmet products, Mozzarella, Mascarpone and Gorgonzola
Cheese, Ham and Bresaola in slices) you can order any day but the
shipping will only be executed on certain days in order to avoid weekend
deposit.
Some exceptional delays due to
the UPS service may happen. In any case the time of delivery should never

The following information apply for non-professional buyers,
without VAT number, which order for personal use. Companies with VAT

Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom):
In general non-professional buyers are allowed to purchase
food and wine through Internet for personal use. The notion of
purchase for personal use may slightly vary according to the different EU
Member States. In case of doubt we suggest you to check your national regulation
or to place single orders lower than 300 Euro (and order additional quantities
in the following days).
The following Italian taxes and rules apply VAT (IVA):
In Italy food is generally subject to 4% VAT.

Delivery of wine in Sweden is only for personal use and only to persons that are 20 years of age or older. We reserve the right to check the identity and age both when an order is placed and when it is delivered.
You have to personnally receive the bottles you have ordered. They cannot be left at your door or to your neighbour.
Italian Tradition is an Italian company. Our alcoholic beverages are not deposited in Sweden.They are shipped directly from our base in Parma, Italy to your home or office in Sweden in just a few days.
We have been extremely careful to respect Swedish rules and sofar suspended sales of wine and spirit due to the legal situation in Sweden.
We have now started to offer the possibility to buy wine over the internet to Swedish residents, ONLY following the decision by a Swedish Court allowing import of wine and spirit for private persons.
The Domslut av Hovrätten av Skåne och Blekinge Nr. DB 3131 of 27 May 2003 som har vunnit laga kraft on 25 June 2003 foresees that private import to Sweden of alcoholic beverages for personal use is legal, based on EU legislation.
According to this Domslut, restriction of private import of alcoholic beverages violate artikle 30 i EG-rätten.
A procedure of infringment of EU legislation initiated by the European Commission, resulted on 20 th October 2003 in a reasoned opinion sent to Sweden concerning a ban on individuals bringing alcoholic beverages, through an independent intermediary, from other Member States into Sweden.
The Commission believes that an individual residing in Sweden should not be precluded from purchasing products available on the market in other Member States. National provisions hindering such access create a trade barrier, which is not remedied by
allowing consumers to request Systembolaget to bring in alcohol.
According to the Commission, under certain conditions, import to Sweden via internet by private individuals for personal use
is equivalent to individuals personnally bringing into Sweden alcohol beverages for their own use.
In case of doubts, we suggest you to check your national legislation.
(B) OTHER COUNTRIES
Other countries may not authorise the shipping of food and wine even for personal use.
You are invited to check your national legislation.
Personal purchase of goods may vary according to the personal
quantity limit established in each country. We suggest to check your national
rules in case of doubt or not to exceed 150 EUR and 30 Kg of products per
purchase. Should you wish to have larger quantities, it is suggested to place
an additional order in the following days.
