History:

When the most highly regarded truffle pickers came home with just a few truffles, they often had to endure a scolding from their wives, and needed to hide their shame from their companions. They did this by saying they hadn't gone truffle hunting that day.
But what did they do with the few truffles they had found? On Sunday when friends and relatives were invited, the truffles were cooked up with mushrooms, capers olives and anchovies. The resulting sauce is a delicious mix!
